Rich Mix, The Studio, E1 6LA , [Venue Details]TAIGA are an electronic duo from Inner Mongolia and Xinjiang, fusing traditional sound with modern techniques into a new form of psychedelic nomadic music.
Rooted in Mongolian traditions and musical heritage, they combine the Khoomei throat singing technique, instruments such as the morin khuur (horse-head fiddle), the Tuvan doshpuluur lute, bass drums and guitars, with influences from dub, broken beats, progressive, ambient, trance and electronic dance music.
Each composition conveys a message and is a gateway to their authentic world and vision of life.
